Web Developer
(Full-Time Role)

We are delighted to be recruiting for the role of Full-Time Web Developer.

This exciting opportunity will allow exposure to web projects across a wide range of industries and sectors. We’re seeking a self-motivated individual to join us in our Portadown studio to work primarily with WordPress doing back-end and front-end development.

Deadline: Friday 10th November at 12pm

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • creating, maintaining and updating WordPress websites
  • working as part of a team in the delivery of web projects
  • working directly with clients or an account manager to deliver projects on time and budget.

Mandatory Criteria:

  • 3-5 years experience in the development of website solutions
  • a strong working knowledge of modern HTML and CSS workflows
  • experience using javascript libraries specifically jQuery
  • some understanding of PHP and using it within WordPress projects
  • setting up staging and development environments for WordPress development

Desirable Criteria:

  • experience with CSS, SCSS/SASS and CSS Preprocessors
  • knowledge of modern JS frameworks such as Angular and REACT
  • an understanding of version control specifically GIT
  • experience integrating websites with 3rd party API libraries
  • exposure to other CMS frameworks such as CraftCMS, Expression Engine and Joomla
  • experience developing E-commerce websites using Woocommerce
  • knowledge of MVC PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Code Ignitor and Symfony

Digital Content Producer
(Part-Time leading to Full-Time Role)

We’re on the hunt for the latest addition to our digital marketing team.

As Digital Content Producer you will develop and implement content strategies to help promote the online brands of our clients through a variety of channels. You will provide content, editing and proofreading support to the marketing, design and web development teams.

If you’ve got digital marketing, SEO and Google Analytic super-skills alongside the ability to content manage numerous websites this could be the role for you. So if you’re an eager and energetic Graduate or someone with a number of years in a similar position under your belt we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Creating compelling, original content that grabs attention and adheres to brand guidelines
  • Developing content strategies from initial ideas to publishing
  • Developing and managing social media campaigns
  • Experience in updating website content via CMS
  • Working with the marketing team to schedule a calendar of content
  • Writing content in the form of blog posts, social media updates, landing pages, website copy and press releases
  • Implementing marketing campaigns from scratch and delivering proven results

Mandatory Criteria

  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience in content creation for social media and SEO campaigns
  • Experience in writing content for websites and marketing material
  • Excellent writing and communication skills with the ability to create content to a high standard for a range of industries
  • Relevant degree within a Journalism/Marketing related field or similar

Desirable Criteria

  • A good understanding of current and emerging Social Media channels with the ability to maximise their potential for clients
  • A good understanding of SEO practice would be preferable but not essential
  • An understanding of website Content Management Systems especially WordPress

(Remote or Office Based)
