Ulster promise they offer more than just carpet…Ulster provides inspiration, creativity and imagination to build the interior design of your home. As part of an ongoing relationship, Ulster tasked us with a new website to promote their new residential range of carpets.
ULSTER CARPETS – RESIDENTIAL
WEB DESIGN & BUILD
Ulster Carpets individually designed carpets grace the floors of prestigious hotels, casinos, cruise ships and renowned venues the world over. With over 70% exported beyond the UK and Ireland. Cornell were appointed by Ulster Carpets to redesign and develop the digital infrastructure of their residential websites. The task was to develop a multifaceted modern site, supported by all devices and reflecting the core values of Ulster’s key business areas.
- Design & build new website for Residential business
The Ulster Carpet residential website required the lion’s share of the work on this project due to the sheer number of ranges and colour combinations on offer.
The product offering along with the bespoke sample ordering system required a database driven platform to be specced and built from scratch in order to ensure that the site was easily searchable by users and easily maintainable by Ulster staff.
Ulster also wanted to use the site to promote a select number of ranges solely within the United States. We therefore use GeoIP as a means of identifying the users location in order to display the appropriate products.
We continue to support Ulster with site updates and maintenance on an ongoing basis.
“We appointed Cornell as our digital partner after an in-depth tendering process involving a shortlist of six UK digital agencies. Although we searched the UK for the perfect partner we ended up with one right on our doorstep.
Cornell have provided us with Contract and Residential websites that perfectly display our offering to the target audiences. We continue to engage Cornell for maintenance and ongoing support and are constantly impressed with their level of service in all areas from creativity to technical assistance.”
